Thais Távara oversees the podcast strategy for the Spanish-speaking markets in Latin America. Based out of Miami, Thais leads a distributed team across Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina to position Spotify as the preferred platform for talk creators.
Thais has been working at Spotify since February of 2019, always on the podcast team, initially focused on audience development, and now taking on a more holistic role where she oversees entire markets and has been a key contributor to rolling out Spotify’s new platform approach.
Before joining Spotify, Thais was at Gimlet Studios until they were acquired by Spotify, where she worked on the business side of podcasts focusing on pricing and packaging the shows within their slate. Thais is a Business Administration graduate of the University of Florida.
