Silvia Migdalis

Migdalys Silva is the Vice President Brand lead for NICKELODEON Latin America. In this role, oversees all aspects of content and business operations, managing brand and content strategy, creative, marketing, multiplatform, production development including Kids Choice Awards Mexico, for the kids & family brand in Latin America. Also, is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and acquiring series, and movies for the linear channels partnering with international and domestic programming distributors attending to major markets including MIPCOM, MIPJR, KIDSCREEN and NATPE. Silva joined Paramount in October 1997 as a Programming Coordinator and over the course of 27 years she has grown with the company. Silva has been working in the industry since 1986, and has built a strong reputation as a TV Producer and Programming scheduler, she worked in Venezolana Television, Omnivision Multicanal and Corpa Publicidad in Caracas Venezuela from 1986 to 1994; In 1995 she move to the United States and work at Gamma Communications in Miami Florida from 1995 to 1997 as of Programming Manager and Producer for the Children’s Channel PANDA CLUB, Creating programming schedules and developing channel-programming strategy jointly with the Spain office, Produce and post-produce all On Air content promotions. Silva is a 1985 graduate of the Instituto Universitario de Nueva Profesiones (Caracas, Venezuela) where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising; Communications & Marketing and a master’s degree in television & Broadcasting. And is a certified Venezuelan Broadcasting Radio and TV host.
