Monica Albuquerque

Monica Albuquerque is Head of Talent Management and Fiction Development at Warner Bros. Discovery Latin America. The executive is responsible for leading the research and management of actors and actresses, directors, writers and other talents for fiction and non-fiction productions. Monica is also responsible for the development of series and telesseries originals for Max streaming platform, working directly with the best creators, directors, producers and technicians in the Latin American market to expand and create new formats for Latin America.

The executive also works in close and permanent contact with the Production and Distribution divisions for the company’s linear and digital channels.
She is the first Brazilian named among the 50 most influential women with the greatest impact in the entertainment industry in the world by the International Women’s Impact Report of the american magazine Variety, in 2019.
Monica Albuquerque worked at TV Globo, in Brazil, for 21 years, seven of them heading the Artistic Development Department.
