A 28 year veteran of the media industry, Marcel Vinay CEO of Comarex.
Comarex, distributes and develops entertainment content to Terrestrial Television Stations, OTT Platforms, Mobile Aggregators, DTH Platforms, Cable & Pay Television Channels, IPTV, and other media outlets in more than 150 countries around the world. Comarex currently distributes a media library consisting of 500 feature films, 12,000 hours of Telenovela, 1,000 hours of dramatic series, 600 hours of children’s programming, television production formats, sports and general entertainment. Has been content aggregator for Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Also is Head of Content and Acquisitions for Grupo Albavision, who operates 42 networks in Latin America and one PAY TV channel in the US.
Has been executive producer on TV Series including “Bronco” (HBO, Claro Video & Pantaya), “Bitter Daises” (Netflix), “Goin Loco”, etc.
Among other ventures Marcel Vinay, programmed, launched and distributed Pay TV Channels in the USA, Latin America, Middle East and Africa.
In 2005 acquired and operated Exicable, a Cable TV System growing 250% before it was sold to a larger operator.
In 2004 was the founder of Up-Mobile, a Mobile Content and interaction company with operations in México, USA, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, El Salvador & Costa Rica.
In the late 1990’s produced theater musicals and lead a theatrical distribution company in Mexico.
