Mr. Luis F. Peraza is an innovative business leader with over 35 years of experience in international audiovisual media. He is currently the founder and managing director of Pyrus Media, a film & TV content production company focused on the Latin American, Spanish, and US Hispanic markets.
Until recently he served as President of Networks for HBO Latin America Group, a leading premium, subscription-based, television service distributed throughout Latin America, Brazil, and the Caribbean, where he was a pioneer in the production of premium-quality scripted TV series, feature films and documentaries. He is a member of the original team that launched HBO in the region in the 1990’s.
Prior to joining HBO LAG, Mr Peraza held a number of senior managerial positions at Omnivision Multicanal (Multichannel Video Programming Distributor), Marte Television (TV Production) and Radio Caracas Television (Broadcasting Network) in his native Venezuela.
Luis has a Master of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
