Olympusat – Vice President of Content Acquisitions: In June 2023, Hulda Acevedo was appointed as the Vice President of Content Acquisitions at Olympusat. In this position, she holds the responsibility of developing and maintaining licensing relationships with major studios and content partners in their respective regions. Her tasks include developing licensing strategies, securing new content and additional rights, and renewing existing deals. Hulda also negotiates complex license agreements and works on developing new business models. She is skilled in navigating both existing and emerging business models in the entertainment industry, such as AVOD (Advertising-based Video on Demand), FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television), SVOD (Subscription Video on Demand), and Broadcast, among others. Additionally, she leads a diverse team and strives to deliver positive results through effective teamwork.
A+E Networks Latin America – Programming Manager: Non-Linear Content: Hulda joined A+E Networks in December 2011 and eventually became the Programming Manager for Non-Linear Content in Latin America. In this role, she was responsible for implementing content strategies across all non-linear platforms (TVE/VOD). She collaborated with the SVP of Marketing Affiliate to identify and prioritize key affiliates for TVE and VOD launches. Additionally, she worked with the SVPs of Content to maximize audience engagement in line with the agreed content strategy for A+E Networks Latin America.
New Business Development at The Succession Group: Before entering the media industry, Hulda worked in the Wealth Management sector at The Succession Group. During her time there, she managed the III Forks event and achieved significant success by selling over $30 million in life insurance, contributing to an increase in revenue to over $3 million.
