Alejandro Rincón

Alejandro Rincón was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Endemol Shine Boomdog in November 2017. Prior to the creation of Endemol Shine Boomdog, Rincón, along with his partner Carlos Perna, founded Boomdog in Caracas, Venezuela which joined forces with the US Hispanic team of Endemol Shine North America, a division of Banijay Group and the largest global content producer and distributor. Rincón oversees the Mexico-based television production company which is behind numerous acclaimed series in Mexico, Latin America, and the U.S. Hispanic market. Rincón led Boomdog to build his own studio in Mexico City under an alliance with Sony Pictures on “Mexico’s Next Top Model”, the first production to be filmed at the new studios. Since 2017, he’s been at the forefront of successful movies and television shows in Mexico, including “MasterChef” and “MasterChef Jr,” among others.

Endemol Shine Boomdog is behind many of the top-rated Spanish-language series in both the US and Mexico, including La Casa de los Famosos México (TelevisaUnivision), Mira Quien Baila (TelevisaUnivision), MasterChef Mexico (TV Azteca), ¿Cuál es el bueno? S2 (TelevisaUnivision), Los 50 (Telemundo), La Casa de los Famosos (Telemundo), The Masked Singer – Mexico (Televisa), Subete a mi moto (Amazon), Tu Cara Me Suena (Univison) and the series Todo por Lucy (Amazon and Elefantec Global), among others. In 2010, Boomdog partnered with E! Entertainment Television, now part of the NBCUniversal group, to produce many of its franchise shows in Mexico, including E! Latin News, La Sopa, Fashion Police and How Do I Look. The company also has an overall development deal with award-winning actress/producer Kate del Castillo (“The Queen of the South”) and her team at Cholawood Productions, who released “The Beautiful Lie” series for Pantaya and most recently, “Volver a Caer” for ViX. Currently, Rincón and his family reside in Mexico City.
