El aclamado guionista, director y productor argentino Juan José Campanella recibirá el Premio a la Trayectoria en la tercera edición de los Rose d’Or Latinos, cuya gala se celebrará en Miami en el marco de Content Americas 2026.
Además, en Content Americas ofrecerá una keynote en la que compartirá sus proyectos, su visión de la industria y su misión como creador.

Campanella es uno de los directores de cine y televisión más reconocidos de Argentina y de toda América Latina, y ha trabajado en numerosos proyectos en Estados Unidos.
Su obra incluye películas como ‘El mismo amor, la misma lluvia’ (1999), ‘El hijo de la novia’ (2001), ‘Luna de Avellaneda’ (2004) y la ganadora del premio Oscar de la Academia de Hollywood como Mejor película en lengua extranjera en 2010 ‘El secreto de sus ojos’.
En televisión, ha dirigido episodios de series estadounidenses como ‘Law & Order: SVU’, ‘House M.D.’ y ‘30 Rock’, así como los pilotos de ‘Halt and Catch Fire’, ‘Night Sky’ y ‘Colony’, serie en la que también fue productor ejecutivo durante su segunda temporada.
Recientemente, dirigió, escribió y produjo la serie ‘Los enviados’, protagonizada por Miguel Ángel Silvestre y Luis Gerardo Méndez para Paramount+, y actualmente está posproduciendo la película ‘Parque Lezama’ para Netflix. Ambos proyectos fueron realizados a través de su productora, 100 Bares.
Campanella es también fundador del estudio de animación Mundoloco CGI, responsable de la película ‘Metegol’, la serie infantil ‘Mini Beat Power Rockers’ y de la esperada adaptación de la icónica historieta argentina ‘Mafalda’ para Netflix.
“Como si fuera poco poder vivir de lo que haría absolutamente gratis, haberme comunicado con mis compatriotas a un nivel emocional que solo el arte puede lograr, y además que estas historias que nacieron en Buenos Aires viajen por todo el mundo, además de todo eso, tengo el privilegio de recibir una caricia, un mimo tan importante como este premio”, dijo Campanella sobre el reconocimiento.
“No solo es una satisfacción personal, sino un gran empujón para seguir adelante en un momento en que nuestra industria está sufriendo cambios enormes y uno duda de tener la fuerza para empezar a abrir camino de nuevo. Siento un enorme agradecimiento por este aliciente que llega en el momento justo”, agregó.
En las ediciones anteriores de los Rose d’Or Latinos, fueron reconocidos con este prestigioso premio la creadora y productora argentina Cris Morena y el actor y productor mexicano Eugenio Derbez.
Los Rose d’Or Latinos ya han abierto las inscripciones para su edición 2026, que volverá a reconocer lo mejor del contenido en idioma español y portugués en 14 categorías. Estarán abiertas hasta el 6 de octubre de 2025, y aceptarán contenidos emitidos entre el 1 de julio de 2024 y el 6 de octubre de 2025.
La tercera edición de los Rose d’Or Latinos llega respaldada por el éxito de su última convocatoria, donde cerca de 300 títulos de Latinoamérica, US Hispanic, España y Portugal compitieron por el oro.

Juan José Campanella to receive Lifetime Achievement Award at Rose d’Or Latinos and deliver keynote at Content Americas
Celebrated Argentinian screenwriter, director and producer Juan José Campanella will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the third edition of the Rose d’Or Latinos, taking place in Miami as part of Content Americas 2026.
Campanella will also deliver a keynote at the event, where he will share insights into his creative mission, current projects and the evolving audiovisual landscape.

One of the most prominent film and television directors in Argentina and Latin America, Campanella has also worked extensively in the US.
His film credits include Same Love, Same Rain (1999), Son of the Bride (2001), Moon of Avellaneda (2004) and the Academy Award-winning The Secret in Their Eyes, which took home the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2010.
On the TV side, he has directed episodes of major US series such as Law & Order: SVU, House and 30 Rock, as well as the pilots of Halt & Catch Fire, Night Sky and Colony, on which he also served as executive producer during season two.
Most recently, Campanella wrote, directed and produced The Envoys, starring Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Luis Gerardo Méndez for Paramount+, while he is currently in post on the Netflix feature Parque Lezama. Both projects were produced through his company 100 Bares.
He is also the founder of animation studio Mundoloco CGI, which is behind the film Underdogs, preschool series Mini Beat Power Rockers and Netflix’s upcoming animated adaptation of the iconic Argentinian comic strip Mafalda.
Campanella said: “It’s already a privilege to make a living doing something I’d gladly do for free, to connect with my fellow countrymen on an emotional level only art can reach and to see stories born in Buenos Aires travel the world. But, on top of all that, receiving an honour like this feels like a heartfelt gesture, a true gift.
“It’s not just a personal recognition, it’s a powerful push to keep going at a time when our industry is facing seismic shifts and it’s easy to wonder if one still has the energy to clear a path forward. I’m incredibly grateful for this timely encouragement.”
Previous recipients of the Rose d’Or Latinos Lifetime Achievement Award include Argentinian creator and producer Cris Morena and Mexican actor and producer Eugenio Derbez.
Submissions are now open for the 2026 edition of the Rose d’Or Latinos, which celebrates the best Spanish- and Portuguese-language content across 14 categories. The deadline is October 6, 2025, and eligible titles must have aired between July 1, 2024, and October 6, 2025.
The third edition builds on the momentum of last year’s call, which saw nearly 300 entries from Latin America, the US Hispanic market, Spain and Portugal compete for the gold.
